He is an active member of the Louisville Society of Financial Analysts and was appointed a Trustee of the Judicial Form Retirement System by the Governor of Kentucky. in Finance in 1985 and achieved his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1997. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH, with a B.S. Ben then helped assist institutional clients with their investment needs at DB Advisors (a division of Deutsche Bank), INVESCO, and Aegon N.V. He began his career as a commercial lender at Citizens Fidelity Bank, now PNC Bank. This combination of investment expertise and a detailed understanding of various retirement vehicles allows him to assist our clients across all their different sources of savings.īen joined Pillar full-time in May 2013 but has been involved with the firm since its founding in 1997.
